Each year the Person SWCD sponsors students to attend a week-long Resource Conservation Workshop (RCW) held at NC State University.  This educational workshop is designed to provide students an opportunity to learn more about natural resource conservation and agriculture while exploring related careers. The 2026 RCW is June 14-19, 2026.  

Applications are being accepted from rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders (2026 graduates are ineligible).

Application deadline is March 31, 2026.
