The Person Soil & Water Conservation District is a governmental subdivision of the State of North Carolina formed under the provisions of NC General Statute, Chapter 139.

The mission of the Person Soil & Water Conservation District is to promote the conservation of soil, water and related natural resources in Person County through education, information, technical assistance, and best management practices for the benefit of the environment, economy, and county citizens. 

The Person Soil and Water Conservation District provides an annual report to the general public. Annual reports highlight our District and Department accomplishments of the fiscal year but does not reflect all of our involvement within Person County.
