Adopt a Park

Individuals, businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to help keep our parks clean and beautiful by participating in our Adopt-a-Park Program.

Program Details:

• One-year commitment to help maintain and enhance a community park
• Complete six service projects during the year
• A sign will be posted showing your group has adopted this park.

Friends of the Parks

The mission of Person County Friends of the Parks is to promote outdoor recreation and community service opportunities within the Person County parks, lakes and trails systems, designed to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being of our residents and visitors.

Recreation Advisory Board

The Recreation Advisory Board advises on issues relative to recreation in Person County and meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Kirby Cultural Arts Complex, 213 North Main Street, Roxboro. Meetings are open to the public.
