47^th ANNUAL ROXBORO INVITATIONAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT POSTPONED*

The Person County Recreation, Arts & Parks Department would like to announce the 47^th Annual Roxboro Invitational Tennis Tournament beginning Friday, October 10 and ending Sunday October 12, 2025. 

The tournament will be held at the Huck Sansbury tennis courts. Registration deadline is Friday, October 3, 2025 by 5 pm.  Registration fees are $30.00 per singles event, $40.00 per team for doubles event. 

Divisions will include Men’s and Women’s Open Singles and Doubles, Men’s and Women’s 50 & Over Singles and Doubles, Also, there will be an Open Mixed Doubles division and a 50 & Over Mixed Doubles division.  Junior divisions include 18 & Under, 13 & Under, boys and girls.  Juniors may play in the adult open divisions.

*All matches consist of two out of three sets with a 10-point tie breaker in lieu of third set.

*Draws will be limited to first 16 entrants in singles and the first 8 teams in doubles.

*Limit three events per entrant (two singles event per participant.)

*Awards will be given to the winners, finalists, and consolation winners in each division.

Although this is not a sanctioned tournament and USTA membership is not required, USTA rules will govern all play.
