The Person County Planning Department serves as the administrator and advisor to the County Manager and the County Commissioners on such issues as land use, planning and zoning, subdivision, state mandated watershed protection, code enforcement, and other programs guiding the future growth and development of the County. The Department is committed to providing the best service available to all citizens through technological innovations, suggestions, streamlining processes, and friendly, courteous service.
