The GIS Department provides interactive web applications, GIS data, digital maps, and large format printing to residents, businesses, and other government entities.
But GIS is more than just maps. The GIS system is used for capturing, analyzing, communicating, and displaying information related to places. By relating seemingly unrelated data, GIS can help individuals and organizations better understand spatial patterns and relationships.
