Telecommunicator of the Year 2024

Alyssa Long has been awarded Telecommunicator of the Year for the Person County Emergency Communications Division.
 
Alyssa has served with the Division for over two years and is a shining example of what a Telecommunicator should be. She comes to work every day with a positive attitude and a desire to serve her community. With every call Alyssa receives, she shows care and compassion. At times when callers are at their darkest moments, her voice shows them that she is with them, and they are not alone. Alyssa's radio interaction with our emergency responders is always professional and effective.
