Person County Animal Services does not offer services for Spay & Neuter at this time. Please see the list below for the closest resources for spaying and neutering your pets or for Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) programs in the area. 

Spay & Neuter

APS Spay & Neuter Program is hosted by Animal protection Society of Person County, a local rescue group that provides financial assistance for spaying and neutering.  This program is income based, and an application must be submitted with proof of income. Not all applicants will qualify.  Applications can be accessed via their website, or picked up at Person County Animal Services. 

Piedmont Communities Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic is a spay & neuter clinic in Greensboro, NC that also offers wellness care for dogs and cats. Appointments are required. 

Alamance Spay & Neuter Clinic is located in Burlington, NC and provides low cost spay, neuter and wellness services to the public. Appointments are required. 

Five County Spay Neuter Clinic in Zebulon, NC offers low cost spay, neuter and wellness services to the public. Appointments are required. Pre and Post surgical information can also be found on their website.

SPCA of Wake County's Saving Lives Spay/Neuter Clinic  offers low cost spay and neuter services to the public. You do NOT have to be a resident of Wake County to utilize their services! Appointments are required, and can be scheduled online. 

Fine Whines and Lickers, a rescue group in neighboring Caswell County offers a no-low cost spay and neuter program for households in need. Inquiries for services MUST be sent via email to galyna@finewhinesandlickers.org 

Roxboro Animal Hospital offers Feral Cat Days for spay & neuter of feral cats. Feral Cat Days are offered every couple of months, and are announced on their website and Facebook page.
