Adoption Process

All adoptions are first come, first served.

You can view all our available pets on Petfinder and Adopt-a-Pet, and most are also posted on our Facebook page. However, the best way to see them is to visit the shelter.

Adoption fees are $120 and include:

• Spay/neuter (where applicable) 
• Age-appropriate vaccinations
• Heartworm testing for dogs (age appropriate)
• Deworming
• Flea/tick preventative
• Microchip

Please note that not all of the animals shown on this page may be available for adoption immediately. If you have a question about a specific animal, please call the shelter at (336) 597-1741.

Spay or neuter, unless already completed, is the adopter's responsibility and must be performed within 60 days of adoption.

We have partnered with PetSense to showcase our adoptable cats. Since our partnership began in 2021, our cat adoptions have increased by more than 40%.
