Purpose
The Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee discusses opioid-related health concerns and issues impacting the residents of Person County; advises the Board of Commissioners on options to expend funds to remedy opioid impacts; and plans/hosts an annual meeting to receive input on proposed uses of settlement funds and to encourage collaboration between local governments.

Request for Applications
The purpose of this Request for Applications is to fund eligible organizations to implement evidence-based, high-impact strategies to address the opioid overdose epidemic in Person County, North Carolina. In addition, this RFA builds capacity and local infrastructure to respond to the overdose crisis in Person County, North Carolina.

Meetings
The Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee meets the First Wednesday of odd-numbered months, as needed, at 10 a.m. at the County Health Department, 355-A South Madison Blvd., Roxboro.
