Purpose

The purpose of the Human Services Advisory Committee (HSAC) is to advise the Person County Board of Commissioners and the Person County Human Services Department on human services issues.

The HSAC was established for the purposes of making recommendations to staff and the Person County Board of Commissioners on policy, funding, strategy, and other priorities of county-level human services.

Meetings

The Human Services Advisory Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month at 4:00 p.m.

The June 10, 2026, meeting will take place at the Person County Animal Shelter, located at 2103 Chub Lake Road, Roxboro.

All meetings after June will be held in the FEMA Room of the Person County Human Services Building, located at 355 S. Madison Boulevard, Roxboro.
