The Person County Board of County Commissioner’s and the Person County Planning Board will hold a joint Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 6 pm in the FEMA Room of the Human Services Building at 355 S. Madison Blvd, Roxboro, N.C.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comments on the following zoning map overlay and zoning ordinance text amendment:
- Person County Fall Lake Stormwater Zoning Overlay. Pursuant to a mandate by the State of North Carolina, Person County is proposing a map amendment to include land in the Falls Lake Watershed as shown on the Falls Lake Stormwater Map, Person County.
- Person County Zoning Ordinance Amendment to create Section 31 entitled: The Falls Watershed Stormwater Ordinance For New Development.
