Person County Economic Development, NC Works, Kerr Tar Council of Governments, and Piedmont Community College will be hosting the Person County Job Fair & Resource Expo on September 10, 2026, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM, at Huck Sansbury Recreation Complex located a 303 S Morgan Street, Roxboro, NC 27573.

This annual event brings employers and community resources from Person County and the surrounding region together to showcase employment opportunities, strengthen community engagement, and provide an opportunity for networking and collaboration.  Last year, this event attracted 55 employers and community resource organizations along with 181 job seekers and attendees. 

This event will be outside at Huck Sansbury Recreation Complex in the area of the picnic shelter and grassy areas adjacent to the tennis courts.  In the event of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to Huck Sansbury Gym.  Employers and community resource organizations are reminded that due to it being an outdoor event, they will need to provide their own tent, table, and chairs, and access to electricity will not be available. Job seekers and other citizens interested in exploring the event will have ample opportunity to connect with employers and community resource organizations.  Food trucks will also be at the event to provide coffee and lunch options.
