Person County is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Pantola as the new Veterans Service Officer. He is responsible for delivering a broad range of administrative, advocacy, and counseling services to help individuals access the federal, state, and local benefits they have earned through military service.

"Serving the military and veteran community has been my life's calling,” said Pantola. “I believe no veteran should miss the benefits or care they've earned simply because the system can be complex. My mission is to actively listen to understand the spoken and unspoken needs of Person County veterans and their families, then educate them on how the VA system operates as to help them maximize opportunities.”

The Veterans Service Officer serves as a trusted resource and liaison, guiding clients through complex benefits processes, assisting with claims preparation and submission, and providing accurate information on eligibility requirements.

“We're excited to welcome Adam to the Person County team as our new Veterans Service Officer, and as a partner in the County’s delivery of Consolidated Human Services.  His prior military experience and commitment to serving other veterans make him relatable and he will undoubtedly be well-received by our area's veterans,” said Assistant County Manager Brian Hart.

Pantola is a U.S. Navy veteran and served more than 11 years with the Veterans Health Administration. His office is located in Room 110 (First Floor) of the County Office Building.
