Voltage Energy, a Chapel-Hill based solar energy company, is planning to establish its new global headquarters in Person County.  Currently headquartered in Chapel-Hill, NC, Voltage Energy acquired the former GKN building at 6400 Durham Rd to house its global headquarters and expand manufacturing operations. Voltage’s move to Person County involves ramping up operations and creating local employment opportunities along with ongoing community engagement.
