Brandy Lynch, Director of Person County Economic Development, earned her North Carolina Certified Economic Developer (NCCED) certification at the North Carolina Economic Development Association (NCEDA) Summer Conference on June 11, 2025, in Wilmington, NC.  The NCCED certification is an extensive training course offered in partnership with NCEDA and East Carolina University.  The NCCED program provides practical knowledge in the areas of retention and expansion, innovation and entrepreneurship, business attraction, data and analytics, organization and strategy, and legal framework.
