The Person County Board of Elections will conduct its Hand-to-Eye Sample Audit for the 2025 Municipal Election on Thursday, October 09, 2025, at 10 a.m.  This audit is a comparison of the machine counts with hand-to-eye counts to ensure the voting equipment read the voter’s choices correctly.  The audit is conducted by trained bi-partisan team members and under the observation of staff, board members, and is open to the public.
