Community Programs

Life in 24 is a Diabetes Prevention Program to help people who have pre-diabetes or who are at high risk for Type 2 diabetes make realistic lifestyle changes that can reduce their risk of developing diabetes. As part of a Life in 24 group, participants work with each other and trained lifestyle coaches to learn the skills they need to make lasting changes. This is a 16-week program, followed by bi-monthly then monthly support sessions for a total of 24, 1-hour classes.  Life in 24 shows participants how to eat smart, stay active, and much more. Anyone interested in learning more about the Life in 24 Diabetes Prevention Program and finding out about our next program (coming Spring 2019), contact LeighAnn Creson at or (336) 597-2204 extension 2277.
